Over SIW
- 140 internationale jongeren actief in projecten in Nederland;
- 98 Nederlandse jongeren die vrijwilligerswerk deden in het buitenland;
- maakt afspraken met de hostorganisatie over de werkzaamheden van de vrijwilligers;
- werft campleaders;
- regelt transport en accommodaties;
- stelt een duidelijk infosheet op met alle praktische informatie voor de vrijwilligers;
- ervaring met projectmatig werken;
- organisatietalent en het vermogen om overzicht te houden;
- een proactieve houding en het vermogen om anderen te stimuleren en motiveren;
- affiniteit met maatschappelijke impact, vrijwilligerswerk en internationale samenwerking;
- een auto en de mogelijkheid om deze voor de functie te gebruiken;
- een goede beheersing van het Engels, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk;
- waardevolle projectmanagementervaring binnen een internationale NGO;
- de mogelijkheid om inhoudelijk bij te dragen aan internationaal vrijwilligerswerk;
- een warm en divers, internationaal netwerk;
- ruimte voor jouw ideeën, perspectief en persoonlijke groei;
- de mogelijkheid om hybride te werken: vanuit huis of vanuit ons kantoor in hartje Utrecht;

· Help volunteers reflect on their learning process, personal goals and Youthpass where relevant.
· Stay in regular contact with the ESC Coordinator about the general progress of the mentoring relationship, while respecting the volunteer’s privacy.
· Occasionally meet volunteers in person or join informal/social activities.

Experience in mentoring, coaching, youth work, education, social work or international volunteering is an advantage, but empathy, reliability and the ability to listen without judgement are most important.
Experience with the European Solidarity Corps, Erasmus+, international volunteering or living abroad is a plus.
What do you get in return?
· A warm and diverse (international) network.
· Space for your ideas, perspective and personal growth.
